Village Cruise and Travel, Inc. charges a $25.00 per trip planning fee. This will engage us as your personal travel planner. This fee is for the research and planning of your trip. If you book the trip with us we will give you a $50.00 invoice credit.
This credit cannot be used as deposit but will be added as an additional payment on your invoice. Once our agreement is in place and the appropriate payment authorization is on file, we'll begin the research process to find your perfect trip.
Why We Charge Trip Planning Fees:
The honest answer is because it allows us to give you better service. We receive about 100 call per week inquiring about trips. 75% of them never book a trip, but we spend a lot of time researching and working on them. By charging a small fee this eliminates people that have no intention of traveling thus it allows us more time to devote to planning your vacation. Having additional time frees us up so we can get back to you more quickly, do specific research for your trip and find you the best value.

When you call we’ll ask for some important details including: Travelers information, desired location, travel dates, budget and more.

We will set up a call back time and keep you in the loop as we plan the perfect trip for you. We will do extensive research on not only the components of your trip, but also give you additional needed information. We will price your trip through several reputable companies and present the best value to you. We are with you every step of the way, from planning to having a 24-hour emergency number available to you while traveling.
Is the Fee Refundable
The fee in most cases is non-refundable. It is for all the time spent on your trip. But, If we cannot keep the trip within a 30% overrun on the initial set budget we will refund the planning fee.
